    Luke Alexander brings extensive resource sector experience, knowledge and contacts to Newcore, particularly in West Africa. He has raised billions of dollars and structured deals for major mining companies while advising some of the world’s top institutional investment funds. Mr. Alexander began his investment banking career in the private client group at BMO Nesbitt Burns in Toronto, then started up an equity trading desk for Toronto Dominion in London before doing the same for National Bank. In 2008, he became senior partner at GMP Securities in London. Throughout his investment banking career, he helped fund many major resource projects in West Africa. In 2018, Mr. Alexander founded Park Road Capital, a Vancouver-based, natural resource focused consulting company where he continued to leverage his relationships in London.

    Danny Lee

    Mr. Lee is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with over 25 years of experience in financial reporting, auditing, equity financings and regulatory compliance. He currently also serves as the CFO of Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd., Interfield Global Software Inc. and Genix Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He also serves as a Director of Edgewater Exploration Ltd. Mr. Lee has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.

    Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations

    Mal Karwowska has 18 years of experience in the mining sector, spanning both corporate development and investor relations roles within publicly listed mining companies, as well as corporate finance and principal investing. She spent the first five years of her career at National Bank Financial as a member of the investment banking team, focused on the metals and mining sector. Her prior principal investing roles include Investment Manager at Pacific Road Capital Management, a mining-focused private equity investment firm with approximately US$800 million under management, and Senior Investment Research Analyst at Boston-based Liberty Metals & Mining Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual Insurance. Ms. Karwowska’s prior corporate experience includes Business Development Director at Oxygen Capital Corp., where she worked closely with the management team on the sale of True Gold Mining Inc. to Endeavour Mining Corporation in the spring of 2016. Prior to joining Newcore Gold she served as VP, Corporate Development at First Mining Gold Corp. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.

    Mr. Smith, P.Geo. is an exploration geologist with more than 30 years of experience. He has worked for both junior and senior mining companies in various parts of the world which has included the management of multi-million-dollar work programs that have been successful in outlining more than 10 million ounces of gold. Greg brings a broad range of experience from the evaluation of grass roots properties to supervision of advanced projects including resource and reserve estimation, oversight of geological and technical activities for active underground and open pit mining operations including grade control, QA/QC programs and NI43-101 compliance, and advanced technical and economic studies including Preliminary Assessments (Scoping Studies), Prefeasibility, and Feasibility Studies.

    Ben Collins

    Dr. Collins, Ph.D., P.Eng., has over 15 years of experience in the mining industry, spanning mining engineering, mineral economics, technical studies, project development and environmental management. His career has focused on leading diverse technical teams to deliver multidisciplinary engineering studies, economic assessments, resource estimations, and permitting applications. Prior to joining Newcore, Ben Collins served as Director, Projects at Fuse Advisors (part of SLR), where he led multidisciplinary technical projects and provided owners’-team advisory services. He has also worked closely with executive teams to align technical solutions with corporate strategy and commercial objectives. Dr. Collins holds a PhD in Mineral Economics from McGill University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining Engineering from the University of British Columbia.

    Daniel Wilson

    Mr. Wilson has worked in the mineral exploration field for over 26 years. He provides extensive experience managing field exploration and drilling programs in Africa. Mr. Wilson has previously held senior positions with Ashanti Gold Fields and Red Back Mining. During his time at Red Back, Mr. Wilson supervised various field exploration programs including the exploration work carried out by Red Back on the Enchi Gold Project during 2005-2006. Mr. Wilson also worked as a Supervising Geologist at Coffey Mining during 2007-2009, where he managed various exploration programs in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso and Mali. From 2010 to present, Mr. Wilson has managed Newcore's Enchi Project.

    Alan Pangbourne

    Mr. Alan Pangbourne has over 35 years of management and senior operational experience in the mining sector, with industry expertise in operations, engineering and major project development, along with a successful track record of M&A. He was most recently the President and CEO of Guyana Goldfields Inc. from January 2020 through to its sale to Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. in August 2020. Mr. Pangbourne’s extensive industry experience includes Chief Operating Officer of SSR Mining Inc.; Vice President Projects South America for Kinross Gold Corporation; and before that several increasingly senior roles over 15 years at BHP Billiton Ltd., including President and Chief Operating Officer of Nickel Americas, Projects Director for BHP’s Uranium Division (including the Olympic Dam Expansion), and Project Manager for BHP’s Spence copper project in Chile. He was also General Manager at an engineering company that specialized in gold heap leach and carbon-in-pulp plants. Mr. Pangbourne holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Extractive Metallurgy) and a Graduate Diploma in Mineral Processing from the Western Australia School of Mines.

    Mr. Forster has been involved in the mining industry and capital markets for over 40 years, having acted as geologist, founder, director, senior executive and financier. Mr. Forster has served as a director of Equinox Gold since June 2025, upon completion of the merger with Calibre Mining. Mr. Forster was Founder, President & CEO of Newmarket Gold Inc. which operated three gold mines in Australia with annual production of over 225,000 oz/year. Newmarket was acquired by Kirkland Lake Gold in a $1 billion transaction in 2016. Mr. Forster has extensive experience and a proven track record in mergers and acquisitions, public company management, mine operations, resource project development and equity and debt financing. For over three decades Mr. Forster has been creating wealth for North American and International investors through natural resource discovery, exploration, and operations. Mr. Forster holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc in geological sciences from the University of British Columbia.

    Blayne Johnson is a respected leader in the Canadian investment community with over 38 years of experience. As Chairman of Featherstone Capital and Calibre Mining, he has been instrumental in creating billions in shareholder value across the mining sector.

    At Calibre, Mr. Johnson guided the company through a period of strong growth and the successful $8 billion merger with Equinox Gold. Earlier in his career, he co-founded and led Newmarket Gold and Terrane Metals, earning a reputation for strategic vision, disciplined leadership, and deep expertise in capital markets and corporate finance.

    Omaya Elguindi has been a member of the North American technology business sector for 20+ years. She has been a founder, senior executive, and director of numerous innovative companies that went on to be successfully bought out. Omaya continues to advise investors on tech opportunities and is currently the co-founder, President and CEO of Ekaria LLP, a company that manages the retail rewards program for American Express USA.

    Ryan King

    Ryan King has over 15 years of experience in increasingly senior capacities in capital markets in the resource sector. Most recently, Mr. King served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations at Calibre Mining, which merged with Equinox Gold on June 17, 2025. Ryan was previously responsible for leading the investor relations activities for Newmarket Gold as the company completed a $2 billion transformational merger with Kirkland Lake Gold. Before joining Newmarket Gold, he was involved in starting Terrane Metals, which owned the Mount Milligan Copper-Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada. From 2006 to 2010, Ryan was involved in financing, corporate development, and investor relations for Terrane Metals, as well as assisting with the company’s $800 million acquisition by Thompson Creek in 2010. He brings an established approach to business in the natural resource sector, with specific and targeted applications for delivering shareholder value in the mining industry. During his career, he has assisted in raising $350 million for previous companies. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Royal Roads University in British Columbia, Canada, and currently sits on the Board of Newcore Gold and Edgewater Exploration Ltd. He currently sits on the board of Newcore Gold, Edgewater Exploration and is the EVP Capital Markets for Equinox Gold Corp.

    Sulemanu Koney

    Mr. Koney is a Ghanaian mining industry leader with over 35 years of corporate experience, including 25 years at the Ghana Chamber of Mines (the "Chamber"). Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber from 2014 until his retirement in 2025. During his tenure he provided strategic leadership and transformative initiatives that enhanced the competitiveness and sustainability of the sector. He championed policies that leveraged mining as a catalyst for broad-based socio-economic development and fostered collaboration between mining companies, government, and traditional authorities. While CEO of the Chamber, Mr. Koney also chaired the UN Global Compact Network Ghana for a decade, promoting corporate governance, business ethics and anti-corruption. He also established and served as the first Executive Director of the ECOWAS Federation of Chambers of Mines (EFEDCOM). Prior to his tenure as CEO, Mr. Koney was Director of Analysis, Research and Finance for the Chamber. In that expansive role, he built deep relationships with civil society, key government ministries, departments and agencies across mining, energy, finance, security, logistics and environment, positioning the mining industry as a core bedrock of Ghana's economy while creating a conducive and predictable operating environment for investors. He also served as the focal point for energy and manufacturing matters, as well as for industry-academia collaboration, particularly with the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT). Before joining the Chamber, Mr. Koney spent a decade at Shell Ghana Limited in the Lubricants Marketing Department, including as a member of Shell's inaugural dedicated mining team mandated to deliver focused commercial and technical solutions to the mining industry.

    Mr. Vint is Associate Director of Mining with Endeavour Financial, a leading financial advisor in the natural resources sector providing advice in project financing, structured finance and mergers and acquisitions. Mike brings to the Newcore board extensive experience in mine operations and construction for precious and base metals as well as corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Vint has spent the majority of his career working in mining operations across the United States and Canada, he then transitioned to the Research department of CIBC World Markets covering the gold sector. Mike was a director of Newmarket Gold Inc. which was purchased for $1.0 billion by Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. Mr. Vint is a registered professional engineer in the Province of British Columbia and received his Mining Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines.
